Plagiarism

Plagiarism Policy

The SALT Journal of Scientific Research in Healthcare is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of academic honesty and publication ethics. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism in any form and expects all submitted manuscripts to be original works of the authors.

Plagiarism includes copying text, ideas, figures, tables, or data from other sources without proper acknowledgment, as well as presenting another person’s work as one’s own. Self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, and simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals are also considered unethical practices.

All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using appropriate screening methods before they are considered for peer review. Manuscripts found to contain substantial similarity or unattributed material may be rejected or returned to the authors for correction.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that:

  • their work is original and properly cited,
  • all sources and references are accurately acknowledged,
  • permissions are obtained for copyrighted materials when required, and
  • the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

If plagiarism or publication misconduct is identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article, publish corrections, and take appropriate editorial action. The journal may also notify the author’s affiliated institution or funding agency when necessary.

The journal encourages authors, reviewers, and editors to follow ethical research and publishing practices in accordance with internationally accepted standards.
